Rim Rock is a modern, luxury, Texas-style mountain lodge: through the front door, step into the homes awe-inspiring great room featuring soaring 19 ft vaulted ceilings with
a wood-burning rock fireplace spanning the entire height of the massive room. Add in some stone columns and open wood trusses and finish it off with a subtle blend of rustic
latin antiques and historical artifacts (the doors were recovered from the historic Lincoln Hotel!), and you have a first class lodge fit for a king. The inspired gourmet
kitchen is accented by cool stone walls, custom pecan cabinetry and copper canyon granite countertops. Keep some bubbly chilling in the custom-built wine cooler, and enjoy
the beauty of sleek stainless steel appliances. The whole family can gather comfortably around the rustic 8ft farm-style gathering table.
Accommodating up to 14 guests, Rim Rock is large enough and dazzling enough for a most luxurious family or group getaway: 6 bedrooms, each with premium sleeping amenities,
unique decor and stunning views as well as superior insulation to minimize sound from room to room. For entertainment, enjoy hours of family fun in the one-of-a-kind game room,
complete with pool table and bar and featuring architectural elements recovered from the home's original 105 year old structure. The master stereo system is operated from here,
pumping your favorite tunes into many of the indoor and outdoor spaces of the home.
Step outside and find the backyard and deck of your dreams; a grand pavilion with lounge space to spare and a complete outdoor kitchen where the chef in the family can whip up
some delicious Texas-style barbecue on the premium grilling station. Meanwhile, guests look out over sweeping views of Hill Country across the custom-built waterfall from one of
three sparkling water areas: the pristine swimming pool with varying depths, the Lounge Pool perfect for working on your tan, and of course, the natural rock hot
tub - large enough for 8! To relax those vacation muscles, step into the wet/dry sauna (hard to find in hill country) just off the pool/deck area.

Back Porch 1400 sq ft of covered porch overlooking a 40 mile view of the texas hill country. Large comfortable rocking chairs. Tables set up to play games or enjoy
your coffee or meal. Ceiling fans provide a comforting breeze. The back porch provides an unobstructed view of the pool, pavilion, fire pit, hot tub, sauna, deer feeder,
and the entire view.
Swimming Pool
- Main Pool A sport pool that ranges from 3.5' deep at one end to 6' deep in the middle to 4.5' deep at the other end. There are benches in the water along
most of the endges that allow you to sit in the water and visit with your friends, or just lay back and enjoy the million dollar views.
- Lounge Pool The lounge pool ranges in depth from 12" to 18" deep and is perfect for placing your chair in the water and just relaxing.
- Waterfall Between the Lounge Pool and the main Pool is a large wall of natural rock that was harvested from within 100 yards of where it sits now.
Multi-speed pumps allow the water to cascade through the natural cracks and fissures of the boulders and fall into both pools.
- Umbrella inserts We built inserts into the main pool benches, into the lounge pool floor, and across the pool patio area to allow pool umbrellas
(which we will have available)
to be placed wherever you happen to be to give you some shade.
