Red's River Cottage offers two lovely bedrooms and one full bath. The quaint queen bedroom is furnished with a comfortable seating area and an antique vanity, while the second bedroom is equipped with an inviting full bed. A twin sofa sleeper in the living area provides additional bedding for a fifth guest.
After a day of swimming and floating in the river the back yard is a wonderful place for grilling a nice Texas style barbecue for the family. Prepare the rest of the meal in the open kitchen, and in case of rain, move the party indoors to the dining table set for four.
With what feels like your own private park surrounding the home, you'll be hard pressed to find a reason to head into town! Still, should you desire the excitement of the city for a moment, simply drive into downtown Wimberley for some Texas shopping and cooking at its best. Or, perhaps a day of sun and fun at one of the nearby water recreation parks or swimming holes is what you have in mind.
