Situated on the deep waters of the Blanco River, this multi-level 5,000 square foot wonderful vacation home offers an awesome hill country retreat for family gatherings or fun with friends! Imagine floating down the river staring up at the huge Cypress trees or just sitting on the edge of the water fishing from dawn until dark. Deep River House has it all including the capability of accommodating up to twenty guests.
The kids and adults will have fun playing pool in the huge game room or playing cards in front of the rock, wood burning fireplace on chilly nights. The charming, open kitchen offers a large island and breakfast table that seats six overlooking the wood deck and river. There is a flow through bar opening from the kitchen to the game room with bar stools on the game room side of the flow through bar window.
The formal dining area also overlooks the river and seats ten. All of this is on the main level, including a separate living area that is far away from the game room that also has a rock, wood burning fireplace, again with a covered wooden deck complete with a porch swing and a fantastic view of the river. Just outside from the living room on the deck are tables and chairs for just relaxing with a glass of wine or cup of hot cocoa, listening to the waterfalls and taking in the beauty of the hill country.
On the same level as the main living area is the beautiful master suite with a king bed, a quiet reading corner and an adjoining master bath with soaking tub and separate shower. Off From the main living room is a lovely and quiet guest bedroom with private bath, offering a queen bed and a twin bed.
The grand finale for the main house is the upstairs Bunk room, this is a parent and child's dream; it sleeps 6 comfortably in 6 twin beds. There is also a full bath with a tub and shower combination. If the kids are video gamers there is a television for their enjoyment. It's a good space to let the kids have fun indoors. Of course if the kids want to play outside, there is ample space to run around or they can grab a float or fishing poles and off to the river.
This is a terrific place to bring a number of adults or parents with many children of all ages and have quality gathering time together as well as private time away from each other. Deep River Vacation home is the place you will all want to be when you have the time to break away from the big city, yet those of you who want the best of both worlds can go a couple of miles away and have nice restaurants, shopping and other fun activities in the quaint and charming town of Wimberley.
Blanco Suite - Adjacent to main house
This suite is offered for an additional fee and features a full-sized bed, queen-size sleeper sofa, full bath, complete kitchen (including microwave and refrigerator), and Cable TV. It has a separate entrance but still provides spectacular views of the Blanco River and beautiful surroundings.
River Suite - Detached from main house
This suite is provided for an additional fee and offers a full size bed, full bath and a private entrance. Also includes cable TV, a mini-fridge and microwave. The view of the Blanco River and surrounding beauty is also offered from this suite but it provides more privacy from the main house
