A portion of Casa Grande was originally built in the 1870s for a pioneering family. Later, the property was purchased as a
weekend getaway for the family of the current owners. Through the generations, the family grew, and the house grew with them.
Casa Grande now offers over 2,800 square feet of space for family entertainment.
With two large living areas, Casa Grande is perfect for family gatherings.
- One living area is the enclosed and air-conditioned "river porch." Stunning views of the Blanco River beckon from three walls of
windows. If the weather is cool, open the windows and enjoy the sounds of the river rapids and the wide variety of bird songs.
Bunk beds tucked into a sleeping alcove on the porch provide a cozy spot for children to settle in for the evenings.
- The second living area is a plush, club-like setting wrought from the original cabin. The ancient limestone fireplace serves as
a reminder of the home's pioneer past. You will enjoy relaxing in the room's pleasant and calming atmosphere.
The spacious master suite includes a cozy sitting area and a second wood-burning fireplace. It is an inviting and private
area in which to sit and enjoy the hill-country views. Bring your favorite novel and curl up by the fire on cool days.
Casa Grande has so much to offer with its fully stocked kitchen, two open dining areas, and two additional
bedrooms (one furnished with a queen-size bed and the other with two comfortable twin beds). There is plenty of space - and privacy - or
large groups.
Located just off the river porch, you will find a wonderful, large hot tub. It is a private place to unwind while admiring the
brilliant stars above and the murmuring headwaters of the Upper Blanco River far below.
By day, the river invites you to swim or wade in its cool waters and leave all worries behind. Or grab your fishing rod! Fly
Fishing magazine identifies the Upper Blanco River areas as ". . . one of the best fly fishing spots in Texas." Bring your kayak
or canoe, and don't forget the floats for tubing down the rapids.
Located only 5 minutes from Wimberley Square, this home completes the perfect hill-country getaway without sacrificing any of the

- 6 nights get the 7th free for weekly rentals that cover a full weekend.
